Maaari nang mabawasan ang carbon pollution mula sa mga sasakyan matapos maimbento ang isang kotseng gawa sa mga niresiklong plastic at humihigop ng carbon dioxide sa Netherlands.
Sa video ng Need Now, sinabing ang naimbentong two-seater na electric car na ZEM o zero emission mobility, ay binuo mula sa 3D printing.
Layon ng mga estudyanteng bumuo ng ZEM para mabawasan ang inilalabas na carbon dioxide ng mga kotse mula sa manufacturing, hanggang recycling.
Kaya bukod sa walang carbon emission, kaya ring maglinis ng hangin ng ZEM.
"It captures more carbon than it emits. In front, it has two carbon filters which filter literally the air while you drive along," sabi ni Jens Lahaije, TU/ecomotive.
Kayang higupin ng ZEM ang hanggang dalawang kilo ng carbon dioxide kung tatakbo ito ng mahigit 32,000 kilometro.
Ang ZEM ang ikapitong eco-friendly na sasakyan ng TU/ecomotive na binubuo ng mga estudyante mula sa Eindhoven University of Technology.
"The final goal is to actually inspire the indudsty. We want to see our car, hopefully, completely be adopted by the industry. The dream goal is, of course, to see it being produced," sabi ni Lahaije. --FRJ, GMA News
