Dahil pa rin sa mainit na panahon, ilang paaralan at lokal na pamahalaan ang nagsuspinde ng face-to-face class sa Martes, April 2, 2024.
Una nang inihayag ng Department of Education na may mga paaralan na nagpapatupad ng ibang paraan ng pagtuturo para hindi masyadong maapektuhan ang pag-aaral ng mga estudyante sa sitwasyon ng panahon.
Ang ilang eskuwelahan na nagkansela ng face-to-face class, maaaring magpatulad ng modular distance learning o online class.
Narito ang ilang paaralan at lugar na suspendido ang face-to-face class sa Martes, April 2, 2024:
- Quezon City: no face-to-face classes on all day care centers, alternative learning system, elementary and secondary levels (public); will shift to either asynchronous or synchronous classes
- E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental: no face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private)
- Dagupan City: no face-to-face classes
- Iloilo City: no face-to-face classes, preschool to senior high school (public and private)
- Bago City: suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels (pre-school, elementary, secondary, and tertiary) and shifting to modular distance learning delivery modalities
- Silay City: suspension of classes for Both Public and Private Schools for ALL LEVELS and shifting to MODULAR or ONLINE CLASSES.
- Mangaldan, Pangasinan: Asynchronous classes mula pre-school hanggang high school sa mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan simula sa Martes.
