May panibagong pasilip ang produksyon ng inaabangang "Voltes V: Legacy" na mapapanood sa gaganaping Kapuso Countdown to 2022 sa Biyernes, December 31.
Sa Chika Minute report ni Nelson Canlas sa GMA News "24 Oras" nitong Huwebes, sinabing umani ng papuri sa Toei Company, may-ari ng "Voltes V" franchise, ang ginagawa ng produkyon sa Pilipinas.
"We could feel your respect to the original series, and we also thank you for your effort, enthusiasm and hard work under this Covid situation," ayon sa ipinadalang sulat ng kompanya.
Labis na ikinatuwa ni direk Mark Reyes ang positibong komento ng Toei sa kanilang ginagawa.
"They were very happy (and) surprised with what they saw so [it's] validation sa ginawa namin ng buong team," ayon kay direk Mark.
Ayon pa sa direktor, nasa 50% hanggang 60% na tapos na ang produksyon ng live action series.
Sinabi ni direk Mark na may ipalalabas na featurette ng Voltes V sa Kapuso Countdown to 2022 sa December 31 sa ganap na 10:30 p.m.
"In the past two years, dalawang teaser ang nilabas natin [sa] New Year so naging tradition. This year, I told production, 'Let's give them more,'" pahayag.
"Finally, they will get to see the costumes, characters, may surprise teaser. The fans will just have fun," dagdag ni direk Mark.
