Naglabas ng opisyal na pahayag ang pamilya ng komedyante at volunteer frontliner na si Kim Idol, kaugnay sa biglaan niyang pagpanaw nitong Lunes. Ibinahagi rin nila ang habilin ng batikang stand-up comedian.

Ang naturang official statement ng pamilya ay ipinost sa Instagram account ni GMA showbiz reporter Nelson Canlas, nagpasalamat sila sa lubos na pagmamahal at suportang ipinadama para kanilang pamilya at kay Kim.

Bagaman batid nila na may mga nais na makita ang komedyante sa huling pagkakataon, hindi na raw ito magaganap dahil kaagad siyang dadalhin sa huling hantungan bilang pagtupad na rin sa habilin ni Kim noong maging frontliner.

"Even before arriving as a FRONTLINER at the Philippine Arena, he has carefully instructed us (Mother and Sisters), including his close friends and relatives that if ever something happens to him, as he has chosen the path to serve others that he would want to go peacefully as he would not want seeing his family and friends sad and down, as he has worked his life to keep them laughing and happy," ayon sa pahayag.

Pumanaw si Kim sa edad na 41, ilang araw matapos siyang dalhin sa ospital nang mawalan siya ng malay sanhi ng kondisyon na Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM), na problema sa ugat sa utak na nakakaapekto sa daloy ng dugo at oxygen.
