"Maris, if you are watching. Doon sa iyong statement, okay na sana ako. I really thought it was a heartfelt statement, and I felt you. Naramdaman kita. And this is probably one of your lowest points and somehow you're a friend and I really wish you the best," saad ni Tito Boy sa "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" nitong Biyernes.
Gayunman, inihayag ni Tito Boy ang kaniyang pagpuna sa mga paglalahad ni Maris.
"May isa lang sabit sa akin, may isang butas lang doon sa statement. Noong sinabi mong wala kang kaalam-alam, meron kayong exchange ng text messages ni Anthony, na 'Delete tayo.' 'Can you delete screenshots and messages?' Sagot ni Anthony 'Alam mo hindi pa naman ako nagde-delete,'" pag-paraphrase o paghalaw na lamang ni Tito Boy.
Sa isa pang punto, tinanong pa ni Maris kung nauunawaan ni Anthony kung bakit kailangan nilang magbura ng mga mensahe.
"There was a line in that conversation that said 'Someday hindi tayo kinakailangang mag-delete. Hindi tayo kinakailangan magtago,'" muling paraphrase ni Tito Boy.
"To say that you didn't have any knowledge that they were still together. Medyo kinukuwestiyon ko as an audience, as a commentator," saad ng talk show host.
"'Yun lamang po, but ako'y humahanga roon sa bravery ni Maris," pagtatapos ni Tito Boy.
Sa pahayag ni Maris, sinabi niyang makailang ulit niyang tinanong si Anthony kung nagkabalikan sila ni Jamela, o kung mahal pa niya ito. Tumugon umano si Anthony ng "no" sa parehong tanong.
"So I was confident to act a certain way around him on the set. Because in the eyes of the people there, we were both single," saad ni Maris.
Kung kaya naman hindi niya alam na in a relationship pa si Anthony kay Jamela.
"I would ask him. God knows I asked him, 'Nagkabalikan ba kayo?' He said 'no.' 'Do you still love her?' He said 'no.' He would say things na ako ang gusto niya and all.'"
Inamin ni Maris na matapos isiwalat ni Jam ang screenshots ng mga usapan nila ni Anthony, sinabi niyang siya ay "truly, truly embarrassed na nakita ng mga tao 'yun without my consent, against my will."
"That's her side of the story, and there's nothing wrong with that. But this is my side."
Pumatok ang tandem nina Maris at Anthony bilang sina Irene at Snoop sa series na “Can’t Buy Me Love.”
