Mapapanood na sa Hulyo 5 ang inaabangang Kapuso series na "The World Between Us," na pangungunahan nina Alden Richards, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, at Tom Rodriguez.
Sa Chika Minute report ni Nelson Canlas sa GMA News "24 Oras" nitong Miyerkoles, sinabing naging inspirasyon sa Kapuso primetime series ang 1847 classic fiction novel na "Wuthering Heights."
Gayunman, sinabi ng direktor na si Dominic Zapata na hinango nila mula sa novel ang mga elemento ng pamilya, relasyon at romantic story-telling para sa series.
"It's such a sweeping love story. You'll be swept up your feet, it will blindside you," sabi ni Direk Dominic.
Bukod sa tatlo, ang cast ay kinabibilangan din nina Dina Bonnevie, Jaclyn Jose, Sid Lucero, Kelley Day, Yana Asistio, Don Bocco at Jericho Arceo.
"This is a very beautiful love story. Kapag tinitingnan ko 'yung characters ng dalawa, bumabalik ako doon sa sarap ng pag-ibig ng ganu'ng edad," ayon kay Jaclyn.
Sinabi nina Tom at Alden na asahan ang bago nilang atake sa mga gagampanan nilang karakter.
"I consider myself lucky na hindi ko pa nakikita at nababasa 'yung source material, para lang at the same time it won't add any undue pressure sa sarili ko. And at the same time I'll be free to try to collaborate," ani Tom.
"We tried to retell a story with a twist, with a different take. Siguro nawawala 'yung element of surprise on an actor's point of view when you are able to watch the whole material, and then magkakaroon ka na ng certain biases sa role mo," ayon naman kay Alden.--Jamil Santos/FRJ, GMA News
