Dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic, pinili ng ilang first-time moms na sina Max Collins at Coleen Garcia ang water birthing upang maiwasan na makuha nila at ng kanilang mga baby ang virus. Ang expectant mom na si Sophie Albert, ikinonsidera rin umano ito.
"It was something I considered, doing water birth. But because, you know, it's my first time, I think I would feel more comfortable being in the hospital," sabi ni Sophie sa Kapuso Showbiz News.
"I feel I would be more comfortable knowing na for any scenario I would be ready. Although ideally sana 'di ba?" dagdag pa niya.
Nagbasa rin daw si Sophie kung paano gagawin ang water birth pero nanaig sa kaniya na sa ospital na lang manganak.
"I was reading about it, I was studying it, I really considered doing water birth at home but eventually I decided to just do it in the hospital and hope for the best na Vin (Abrenica) will be able to be with me," saad ng Kapuso actress.
Handa na raw si Sophie na manganak na maaaring mangyari anomang araw dahil nasa full-term na siya.
"One of the best advices that I was given actually is that the baby would only need you in your best and happiest self, and it's going to be okay that way," sabi ni Sophie.-- FRJ, GMA News
