Batay sa galaw ng international oil trading sa nakalipas na apat na araw, tinataya ni Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau Director III Rodela Romero, na hindi aabot sa mahigit P1 per liter ang madadagdag sa presyo ng petroleum products sa susunod na linggo.
Ang presyo ng gasolina, tinataya na P0.50 hanggang P0.80 per liter ang itataas, P0.30 hanggang P0.60 per liter sa diesel, at P0.20 hanggang P0.40 per liter sa kerosene.
“Crude oil futures were a bit higher as the global supply outlook remained threatened by the potential escalation of geopolitical unrest, due to the drone attack of Ukraine hitting Russian refineries, the production restriction of OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) and the forecast for the peak summer season demand starting third quarter of this year,” paliwanag ni Romero sa dahilan ng panibagong oil price hike.
Karaniwang inaanunsyo ng mga oil company ang madadagdag sa presyo ng langis tuwing Lunes, at ipatutupad naman sa Martes.
Nitong nakaraang Martes, June 25, umabot sa P1.40 bawat litro ang itinaas ng presyo ng gasolina, P1.75 per liter ang diesel, at P1.90 per liter sa kerosene.-- FRJ, GMA Integrated News
