Asahan ang malakihang dagdag na presyo sa mga produktong petrolyo sa susunod na linggo, batay sa pagtaya ng local oil industry sources.
Batay umano sa resulta ng kalakalan sa pandaigdigang merkado nitong July 10 hanggang 13, sinabi sa GMA News Online ng oil industry source ngayong Biyernes, na posibleng P1.80 hanggang P2.00 bawat litro ang itataas sa presyo ng diesel.
Habang sa gasolina, P1.50 hanggang P1.70 per liter ang posibleng madagdag sa presyo.
Inihayag din ni Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau Assistant Director Rodela Romero ang inaasahang taas-presyo sa mga produktong petrolyo.
“For the four-day trading, we are expecting an increase in prices of petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel and kerosene,” anang opisyal.
Ayon kay Romero, mahigit P1 per liter ang posibleng itaas sa presyo ng tatlong produkto.
“The increase is attributed to the planned supply cuts by the world's biggest oil exporters and hopes for higher demand in the developing world offset wider economic concerns globally,” sabi pa ni Romero.
Tuwing Lunes inaanunsyo ng mga oil company ang price adjustment at ipatutupad sa Martes.
Ntiong nakaraang Martes, July 11, nagkaroon ng tapyas sa presyo ng gasolina na P0.20 per liter, habang nadagdagan naman ng P0.75 per liter ang diesel, at P0.50 per liter sa kerosene.--FRJ, GMA Integrated News
