Naglabas na ng pahayag ang TAPE Inc. hinggil sa pamamaalam ng main hosts ng “Eat Bulaga” na sina Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto at Joey De Leon mula sa kanilang production company.

“TAPE, Inc. is saddened by the turn of events yesterday, May 31 but we respect the decision of the hosts to leave Eat Bulaga and GMA 7 Network, which has been their home for 28 years,” ayon sa pahayag, na ipinost ng Director of Finance ng TAPE Inc. na si Seth Frederick “Bullet” Jalosjos sa kaniyang Instagram.

Pinasalamatan nito ang mga nasa likod ng pamamayagpag ng noontime show, ngunit iginiit na ang tagumpay ng Eat Bulaga ay hindi lamang nakasalalay sa tatatlong tao kundi sa pakikipagtulungan ng production, at ng mga manonood.

“We are grateful to the men and women who worked tirelessly for the past 43 years to make our noontime show number 1. The success of Eat Bulaga is not dependent only on three (3) people but on the collaborative efforts of its talents, crew, and loyal viewers.”

“We are happy for the full support of GMA 7 in making Eat Bulaga bigger, to bring more fun and excitement to every Filipino. We want to assure the public and the supporters of the show through its segments that we are committed to provide quality entertainment,” pagpapatuloy pa ng TAPE Inc.

Sa kabila ng mga pangyayari, kailangan pa rin aniyang magtuloy-tuloy sa pagpapasaya sa mga Pilipino.

“It is unfortunate, but life must go on. As with life, we have to accept changes but we have a duty to every Filipino.”

Isinaad din ng TAPE na may mga aabangang mga bagong magpapasaya sa Dabarkads.

“Abangan ninyo ang mga bagong magpapasaya at magpapatibok ng ating mga puso. Aasahan ninyo ang mas masaya, mas nakakaaliw at HIGIT PA SA ISANG LIBO'T ISANG TUWA na Eat Bulaga. Patuloy ang Dabarkads na maglilingkod para sa inyo, mga Kapuso MULA APARI HANGGANG JOLO AT SA BUONG MUNDO.”

Saad pa ng TAPE Inc., “Ang pag-alis ng mga hosts ay hindi dahilan para tumigil ang pag-ikot ng mundo.”
