Inilahad ni Joyce Pring na nakipaglaban sa COVID-19 ang kaniyang pamilya.
Sa kaniyang Instagram post nitong Huwebes, sinabi ni Joyce na "weathered a bout with the ‘vid" ang kaniyang pamilya at sila ay "all finally recovering" na.
Bukod dito, nagbahagi rin si Joyce ng kaniyang larawan kasama ang asawang si Juancho at ang kanilang anim na buwang gulang na anak na si Eliam sa isang Instagram story.
"The 'VID' survivors... Thank God!" caption ni Joyce.
Hindi naman nagdetalye ang podcast host at first-time mom kung sino ang nagpositibo sa virus, o sino ang nagkaroon ng sintomas sa kanila.
Ibinahagi ni Joyce ang kaniyang natutunan sa kanilang karanasan sa COVID-19.
“I do have some thoughts about it, but none I think that other people who have gone through it haven’t already reiterated… All’s left to say is this — the battle with the ‘vid is a mental one almost as much as it is physical.”
“But what I kept holding onto in the daze of the disease was this: It’s never about peace despite circumstances, but peace with God," dagdag ni Joyce.
Ang mahirap pa aniya sa pagkakaroon ng sakit, sabi ni Joyce, ay "it forces us to come face to face with our own fragile existence - and even worse, the fragile existence of those we love."
