Inihayag ni Ynna Asistio na nagpositibo sila ng kaniyang inang si Nadia Montenegro sa coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Sa Instagram post, ibinahagi ni Ynna ang karanasan niya sa pagkakaroon ng COVID-19 story, at kung papaano siya "pinalakas" nito.
Saad ng aktres, negatibo ang unang resulta sa kaniyang COVID-19 test, habang nagpositibo kaagad ang kaniyang inang si Nadia.
"Half of the family had Covid here’s my story. Did RT-PCR test because I was suppose to leave for Bicol. When the test came out that afternoon, I was negative but sad part is mom tested positive," kuwento ni Ynna.
Dagdag niya, ikinonsiderang PUI (persons under investigation) ang buong miyembro ng kanilang pamilya.
"While fixing my requirements for my flight, I had to print the results only to find out that i was also positive," patuloy niya.
"I remember running out of the house cause I was at the dining beside all my siblings," ayon pa sa aktres.
Noong una, asymptomatic daw si Ynna pero nag-iba na ang kaniyang pakiramdam sa ikalimang araw.
"I started to feel mild symptoms like cold sweats, headache, fatigue, loss of appetite (but I didn’t lose my senses of smell & taste), nausea and shortness of breath," lahad niya.
Idinaing din ni Ynna ang nararamdamang sakit sa kaniyang lower back.
"I panicked and called Doctora Melissa our family doctor and went to check on me. She said I was starting to develop phlegm and asked to have an oxygen ready," kuwento pa niya.
"So I followed just to be sure. Every time I breathe, I would feel a sharp pain a stabbing pain on my back but my oxygen level was normal," dagdag ng aktres.
Nakahihinga naman daw siya pero "mabigat at masakit."
Bukod sa pag-inom ng mga gamot at bitamina, ipinahinga raw ni Ynna ang kaniyang katawan para malabanan ang virus.
