Sa edad na 41, hindi inakala ni Regine Tolentino na mabibiyayaan pa siya ng isa pang anak mula sa partner niya na si Dondi Narciso. Kaya itinuturing niyang "miracle child" si Baby Rosie, isinilang niya sa dalawang araw matapos ideklara ang community quarantine dahil sa COVID-19.
Sa Chika Minute report ni Cata Tibayan sa GMA News "24 Oras" nitong Miyerkoles, inihayag ng celebrity, designer at fitness advocate na si Regine na hindi niya kaagad nalaman na buntis pala siya.
"I'm 41 and I found out that I was pregnant at actually around 5 and a half months and I was super surprised because I'm actually irregular and at the time I was just all over the place travelling, I was dancing, working out, and working at the shop as well. So when we found out, it was the greatest blessing," kuwento ni Regine.
Ayon pa kay Regine, 26 na oras siyang nag-labor, at hindi rin niya mapigilang ma-stress nang husto dahil sa banta ng COVID-19 sa bansa.
"When I gave birth, Rosie had pneumonia and she had a fever of 39.9 and rising, actually when they took her away so it was a very chaotic, stressful time and sobra akong umiiyak and I felt that my pulse, actually started right that moment," kuwento niya.
Sa awa ng Diyos, mabuti na ang lagay ni Baby Rosie at na-e-enjoy din mismo ni Regine ang pagbe-breastfeed sa kaniyang baby girl.
Sinusulit ngayon ng kaniyang pamilya ang pagkakataong makapag-bonding lalo ngayong lockdown.
"I am confident now that I'm older and I have the support of my two lovely daughters, we really bond with each other and get to know each other and really make Rosie feel loved and protected," saad niya.
"Despite the pandemic, it's a stressful time, but let's try to make the most out of it and actually enjoy it 'cause you're with your family, kumpleto kayo. Bihira lang itong time natin to spend with them, napakabilis ng panahon, savor each moment. It's great also to take this time to bond through prayer," payo pa ni Regine.--Jamil Santos/FRJ, GMA News
