Sa ulat ng Reuters, ipinaliwanag ni Maximilien Aguttes, Head of Development ng Aguttes Auction House, na ipinagbabawal sa France ang pagbebenta ng intangible goods kaya sa paraan ng NFT isusubasta ang unang text message na ipinadala sa mundo.
"In France, it is forbidden to sell intangible goods so we gave tangible form to this first text message with this digital frame which displays the code, the protocol, used to send the first text message," ayon kay Maximilien.
Isang engineer ang nagpadala ng naturang pagbati ng Merry Chirstmas sa manager ng Vodafone na nasa United Kingdom.
"Neil Papworth, engineer in the team sat behind his computer on December 3, 1992 and sent this SMS to a Vodafone manager in the United Kingdom. They were in the middle of an end-of-year event so he sent him the message 'Merry Christmas'," sabi ni Maximilien.
Isasagawa ng Aguttes Auction House ang online sale sa December 21.
