Mula sa big screen, mapapanood na sa primetime TV simula sa January 3, 2022 ang inaabangang TV series na, "Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune."
Nagsanib-puwersa ang Regal Entertainment at GMA Network para isalin sa isang TV series ang matagumpay na "Mano Po" film franchise.
Iikot ang kuwento ng serye sa hindi inaasahang pagpanaw ng isang business tycoon at lider ng isang kilalang Chinese-Filipino clan.
Dahil dito, magkakaroon ng sigalot ang mga miyembro ng pamilya kung sino ang karapat-dapat sa naiwang kayamanan ng namayapa.
Ang drama series ay kabibilangan nina Barbie Forteza, Sunshine Cruz, Maricel Laxa, Boots Anson-Roa, David Licauco, Nikki Co, Rob Gomez, at Dustin Yu.
Mayroon ding special roles sina Almira Muhlach, David Chua, Darwin Yu, at Casie Banks.
“Masaya ako na magpapatuloy ang legacy ng Mano Po sa GMA. Sigurado ako na maraming viewers ang excited na mapanood ang bagong yugto nito sa telebisyon. Walang duda na magiging blockbuster ang programang ito sa Kapuso Network,” ayon kay GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon.
Pahayag naman ni GMA Executive Vice President and CFO Felipe S. Yalong, "I’m proud that Regal and GMA will bring the legacy of Mano Po to television. Now, Kapuso viewers here and abroad will be able to witness the popular family drama as a series. We are all looking forward to this momentous event.”
Sinabi naman ni GMA Network Films Inc. President and Programming Consultant to the Chairman and CEO Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, na ikinalulugod niya na mapapanood sa GMA ang iconic series.
“We are very excited and honored to co-produce the television version of the hit Regal movie franchise Mano Po. Hindi maikakaila ang success ng Mano Po sa big screen. Kaya’t ngayon na nandito na siya sa GMA, viewers can watch the legacy as a series and enjoy the magic of Mano Po in their homes,” saad niya.
Natutuwala rin si GMA First Vice President for Program Management Department Jose Mari Abacan sa partnership ng GMA and Regal Entertainment,
“Ikinagagalak namin from GMA that we are going to be partnering with Regal with the very popular and strong franchise called ‘Mano Po.’ Unang libro pa lang itong gagawin namin at pictorial pa lang ng mga cast, I’m really watching something already. I’d like to thank Mother Lily and Roselle for the trust that you had given to GMA at sana ang partnership natin will go a long way. Ito na po iyon. Mula sa movies nasa TV na tayo with Mano Po Legacy,” ayon kay Abacan.
Mapapanood ang "Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune," simula sa January 3, sa ganap na 9:35 p.m. pagkatapos ng "The World Between Us."
