Lumitaw sa ginawang pagsusuri ng Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory na "natural cause' ang dahilan ng pagkamatay ng flight attendant na si Christine Dacera.

Sa medico legal report mula sa PNP crime lab na may petsang January 11 na isinumite sa Makati prosecutor nitong Miyerkules, sinabing "ruptured aortic aneurysm" na dulot ng mataas na blood pressure ang ikinamatay ni Dacera.

Dahil dito, lumilitaw sa kanilang pagsusuri na hindi pinaslang si Dacera.

"Manner of death as homicide is ruled out in Dacera's case because the aortic aneurysm is considered a medical condition. Rape and/or drug overdose will not result to the development of aneurysms," ayon sa ulat.

"Even overdose and ruptured aneurysm are two different conditions and cannot be both included as cause of death of patient," dagdag sa ulat.

Isinumite ng PNP ang naturang ulat sa Makati prosecutor office na nagsasagawa ng imbestigasyon sa tunay na dahilan ng pagkamatay ni Dacera.

Inaalam din sa imbestigasyon kung may pananagutan ba ang mga kasamahan ni Dacera sa isang hotel sa Makati noong Enero 1 kung saan namatay ang dalaga.

Hinihinala ng pamilya ni Dacera na inabuso ang dalaga at pinaslang nang dumalo sa New Year's Eve celebration sa hotel kasama ang ilang kaibigan at isa pang grupo ng kalalakihan.

Nakasaad sa medico legal report, na ang "dilatation or aneurysm" sa aorta o malaking ugat ni Dacera ay "chronic condition" at posibleng nagsimula "long time ago or maybe years prior to her death."

"No alcohol or recreational taken the night prior to her death will cause that kind of dilatation or defect on her aorta," ayon sa ulat.

"If she did not die that fateful night, she will still die in any scenario that presents an activity that will increase her blood pressure strong enough to tear that aneurysm," nakasaad sa medical report.

At kung may makita man na alcohol o droga sa katawan ni Dacera, sinabi sa ulat na "this will be an incidental finding because even by their absence, rupture can occur if blood pressure shoots up from different strenuous physical activities."

"Vomiting or retching may  also increase blood pressure and trigger the ruptured aneurysm," ayon sa ulat.

Ang paglaki rin umano ng puso ni Dacera, ayon sa ulat, ay maaaring dulot ng chronic hypertension.

Ayon kay Atty. Mike Santiago, abogado ng ilang respondent na kaibigan ni Dacera, "document speaks for itself."
