Kabilang ang dalawang Filipino sa mga nasawi sa gas explosion sa isang restaurant na naganap sa Abu Dhabi, ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
“Ambassador Hjayceelyn Quintana has reached out to the families of the deceased to express condolences and to give assurance that they will be provided all necessary assistance,” ayon sa inilabas na pahayag ng DFA nitong Martes.
Unang iniulat na tatlo katao ang nasawi sa naturang insidente sa Sheikh Rashid Bin Seed Road sa Abu Dhabi, ayon sa mga awtoridad ng United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Mayroon pa umanong mga Filipino na nasaktan din sa naturang pagsabog.
“The Embassy continues to work with UAE authorities to also obtain details on some injured Filipinos who were brought to the hospital for treatment of minor and moderate injuries so that they can be given appropriate support,” ayon pa sa DFA.
