Sa kanilang vlog, ibinahagi ni Michelle Madrigal kung bakit nauwi sa paghihiwalay ang pagsasama nila ng kaniyang mister na si Troy Woolkfolk.
Ayon kay Michelle, maayos ang paghihiwalay nila ni Troy, at walang sangkot na "third party."
"We were both unhappy," sabi ng aktres. "I think the reason why this marriage did not work was because we're not really compatible at all."
Kuwento niya, naging in love at masaya naman sila sa isa't isa sa loob ng anim na buwan ng kanilang dating period. Katunayan, nagbunga pa nga ang kanilang pagmamahalan--si baby Anika.
"I was in love. And that's the chemistry. Whenever you're together, there's the energy, the fire. You may or may not like the same things, but you kind of ignore that when you have that chemistry because you're so focused on that energy," pahayag niya.
"They give you butterflies that you're so attracted to this person and sometimes you ignore red flags. You kinda ignore your core values," dagdag pa ni Michelle.
"I think most marriages or relationships in general don't last because they're not very compatible with the person they choose to be with."
Sa naging karanasan niya, sinabi ni Michelle na hindi lang sapat na sabihin na mahal mo ang isang tao na gusto mong pakasalan.
"The compatibility, the core values, these are the things you need to look for if you're going to marry someone or even if you're gonna date someone long-term," payo niya.
Sabi pa ni Michelle sa kanilang followers, "The most important part is being compatible with someone ... but if your relationship is just fueled with chemistry, then it's not gonna last. Those are some of the things that I have learned through my past relationships, specifically, my marriage.”
Sa kabila ng nangyaring hiwalayan, wala namang pinagsisisihan si Michelle.
"I was blessed with my amazing daughter. We are blessed with Anika, and it changed our lives," saad niya.
Nitong nakaraang Agosto nang ihayag ni Michelle na hiwalay na sila ni Troy, matapos ang kanilang kasal noong 2019.--FRJ, GMA News
