Inanunsyo na nitong Martes ang limang pelikula na kokompleto sa mga kalahok sa taunang Metro Manila Film Festival (MMF) na ginaganap tuwing Disyembre.
Ang second batch ng movie entry na kasama sa naturang film fest ay ang:
- "My Future You" starring Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin; Directed by Crisanto Aquino
- "Uninvited" starring Vilma Santos, Nadine Lustre, and Aga Muhlach; Directed by Dan Villegas
- "Topakk" starring Arjo Atayde and Julia Montes; Directed by Richard Somes
- "Hold Me Close" starring Carlo Aquino and Julia Barretto; Directed by JP Laxamana
- "Espantaho" starring Judy Ann Santos and Lorna Tolentino; Directed by Chito Roño
Kabilang sa naunang limang pelikula na kasali sa 2024 MMFF, ay ang "Green Bones," na pagbibidahan nina Dennis Trillo, Ruru Madrid, at Sofia Pablo, na mula sa GMA Pictures.
Kasama ng "Green Bones" sa first batch ang "The Breadwinner Is" nina Vice Ganda at Eugene Domingo; "Strange Frequencies: Haunted Hospital" nina Jane de Leon and Enrique Gil; "Himala Isang Musikal" nina Aicelle Santos at Bituin Escalante, at "The Kingdom" nina Vic Sotto at Piolo Pascual.
Ang "Green Bones" ay base sa original story ni JC Rubio, senior documentary manager ng GMA Public Affairs. Ididirek ito ni Zig Dulay, na siyang nasa likod ng MMFF 2023 Best Picture na "Firefly." —FRJ, GMA Integrated News
