Anak nina Almira Muhlach at Bong Alvarez na si Yssa, sasabak sa 2018 Miss World PHL

Kabilang si Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez sa mga naggagandahang dilag na lalaban para makuha ang korona ng Miss World Philippines ngayong taon. Si Alyssa o Yssa ay anak ng dating aktres na si  Almira Muhlach at dating PBA star Bong Alvarez.

Sa kaniyang Instagram account, sinabi ni Alyssa sa caption ng isa niyang larawan: "I am beyond blessed to share with you all that I am officially a Miss World Philippines 2018 candidate. I am honored and humbled by the amount of love and support that everyone has been giving me. Join me in this journey as I show what it means to embody Beauty with a Purpose for the World."

Sasabak din sa naturang kompetisyon sina Miss Manila 2017 Maria Gail Devora Tobes,  Miss Earth Philippines-Air 2017 Kim De Guzman, at si Arienne Calingo, na kinoronahan na First Princess noong 2016.

"This is my last try, and I promise to try my best for Pampanga, for the Philippines, and sana for the World. Maraming salamat po sa inyong suporta," sabi ni Calingo sa isa niyang post.

 

This time around, I look and feel like a completely different person than back in 2016. Now, I am more relaxed, more mature, and more focused. There is still a lot more I want and need to improve, and I’m determined more than ever. To have the opportunity to represent our beautiful country on an international level would be an honor and a blessing.
