Isang aso sa Pittsburgh, "minukbang" ang pinag-ipunan ng kanyang fur parents na $4,000.
Ayon sa ulat ni Mark Salazar sa 24 Oras Weekend, mabait, tahimik, at di-makabasag pinggan ang goldendoodle na si Cecil, na alaga nina Clayton at Carrie Law sa Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Pero nasa loob din pala ang kanyang kulo!
Kuwento ni Clayton Law, nilagay lang niya sa countertop ng kusina ang $4,000 (mahigit P220,000) na winithdraw niya sa bangko para sa renovation ng bakuran nila, at lumabas lang sandali. Pero sa wala pang kalahating oras, ginawa nang meryenda ni Cecil ang pera.
"I just saw him basically standing over this pile of money that had been like eaten and torn apart and shredded and the envelope was totally gone. So I was just kind of in shock."
Tumawag sila sa bangko at ikinuwento ang nangyari. Ang sabi sa kanila, mapapalitan pa raw ang mga salapi, basta may makikita pang mga serial number.
"They said this actually happens from time to time, that dogs are really attracted to that smell and so if we are able to bring in bills that had most of the serial number from the left and right of the bill, they would be able to replace those," ani Carrie Law.
Nag-umpisang magsuka ng pera si Cecil. Tatlong araw rin nilang "winithdraw" mula sa aso ang mga sira-sira na pera, na hinugasan agad saka pinagtagpi-tagpi kung tugma ang mga serial number.
Sa huli, ang nabawi nila nasa $3,500 o mahigit P192,000.
Sa kabila ng nangyari, mahal na mahal pa rin daw nila si Cecil, ang furbaby nilang mahal ang taste!
"I think as long as at the end of the day you just love your pet and you're not mad at them and you understand they are just being animals, it's fine," sabi ni Carrie Law. — BM, GMA Integrated News
