Ilang paaralan ang nag-anunsyo na suspendido ang klase o magsasagawa ng alternative learning sa Martes, Pebrero 25, 2025, na araw ng paggunita  sa 39th anniversary ng EDSA People Power revolution.

Nauna nang idineklara ng Palasyo na special working day ang naturang petsa, o may pasok sa mga trabaho.

Sa isang Facebook post, hinikayat ng Student Council Alliance of the Philippines (SCAP) ang ibang paaralan na magsuspinde rin ng klase o trabaho sa February 25 upang makibahagi sa paggunita ng EDSA People Power Revolution.

“Schools are not just institutions of learning; they are spaces where history, values, and democratic principles must be upheld. Declaring February 25 as a non-working day is more than a scheduling decision—it is a reaffirmation of our shared commitment to democracy, freedom, and justice,” ayon sa SCAP.
