Walang Pilipino na nasawi sa nangyaring missile attack ng Iran sa Israel. Pati na sa nangyaring mass shooting sa Tel Aviv na aabot sa anim ang nasawi at mayroong pang mga sugatan.
"Upon receiving reports of an impending attack, the Embassy immediately instructed Filipinos in Israel to be prepared to enter bomb shelters once they receive a text/app alert or upon hearing an alert siren," ayon sa pahayag ng Philippine Embassy sa Israel.
May katuwang umano ang embahada sa pagpapakalat ng impormasyon para sa safety advisory sa pamamagitan ng social media at messaging platforms mula sa Filipino community leaders.
"As a result, most Filipinos were already sheltering in place or already inside safe rooms when the shooting took place and shortly before the missile attack at about 7:30p.m.," ayon sa embahada.
"We thank you kababayans for quick adherence to the Embassy's safety guidelines, as well as the IDF Home Front Command for its timely alerts. Filipinos are now back to their daily routines, but remain ready and alert for emergencies," dagdag nito.
Samantala, patuloy naman ang isinasagawang ng operasyon ng Israel laban sa grupong Hezbollah sa Lebanon.
