Thea Tolentino entered showbiz back in 2012 as a contestant of the Kapuso original talent-search reality show "Protégé: The Battle for the Big Artista Break." With her mentor, Gina Alajar, Thea was able to rise above the challenges that the show threw at her and was eventually hailed as the Protegé Female Battle Champ. Her first lead project was the titular Pyra in the drama fantasy series "Pyra: Ang Babaeng Apoy." Where Thea truly shines is in portraying kontrabida or fierce roles like that in "The Half Sisters," "Destined To Be Yours," "Haplos," "Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko," "Madrasta," and "Las Hermanas."
