After joining plenty of local and national singing contests, Mariane Osabel finally got her big break when she was hailed as the Grand Champion of the 4th season of the all-original Kapuso singing competition "The Clash." Dubbed as the "Ultimate Siren ng Iligan City," her powerful and soulful vocals trounced her competitors and led her to the top. Mariane then signed a recording contract with GMA Music shortly after. Her debut single, "Bakit Mahal Pa Rin Kita" was also used as the official theme song of the third season of the K-drama "Penthouse" when it aired in GMA.
