Jake Vargas was discovered by the late Master Showman German Moreno who helped jumpstart his career with GMA. The young actor became a household name when he was paired up with Bea Binene in consecutive successful projects like "Reel Love Presents: Tween Hearts," "Pahiram Ng Isang Ina," "Cielo de Angelina," "Alice Bungisngis and her Wonder Walis," "Home Sweet Home," and "Strawberry Lane." After stepping out of the love team formula, Jake was able to prove that he is capable standing alone as an actor in the shows "Buena Familia," "Oh, My Mama!," "Encantadia," "Ika-5 Utos," and "Ang Dalawang Ikaw." One of his most memorable roles is that of Chito Manaloto in the award-winning Kapuso sitcom "Pepito Manaloto" where he got to show off his comedic skills with Michael V., Manilyn Reynes, and Angel Satsumi. Jake is also a musician and singer and has an album which he released in 2010.
