The San Beda Red Sea Lions swept three divisions in the #NCAA100 Swimming Championships with their men’s team completing its 21-year reign as champions.
Three of the team’s members raked in multiple trophies and medals this season: Ihiazel Fei Dolliente, Jennuel Booh De Leon, and Albert Jose Amaro II.
Dolliente bagged all individual awards in the women’s division.
Dolliente:

- Most Outstanding Swimmer
- Most Records Broken (3 new records)
- Most Bemedalled (6 gold, 1 silver)
- Rookie of the Year
- Freshman of the year
De Leon:
- Men’s Division Most Valuable Player
- Most Outstanding Swimmer
- Most Records Broken (3 new records)
- Most Bemedalled (4 gold, 3 bronze)
- Rookie of the Year
- Freshman of the year
Amaro:
- Junior Boys’ Most Valuable Player
- Most Outstanding Swimmer
- Most Records Broken (6 new records)
- Most Bemedalled (7 gold medals)
In an interview with GMA Sports, Dolliente said the pieces of advice from their coaches have helped motivate them in Season 100.
“Lagi po kaming sinasabihan ng coaches namin na i-visualize mo yung gagawin mo sa competition, wag kang magpa-pressure, and wag mong isipin na champions kayo - isipin mo na challengers kayo,” she said.
She urged fellow swimmers and aspiring athletes to continue the fight and to not let a setback deter a quest for victory.
“Hindi made-describe ng isang failure ang buong carreer mo, so tuloy-tuloy lang. Laban lang, she said.
