The announcement came just days after the NCAA ManCom also ordered the postponement of the Wednesday (October 23) games between LPU and Benilde, and EAC and JRU, due to the ongoing unfavorable weather conditions.

The postponed Friday double-header features an interesting duel between the five-game-win-streak-seeking Mapúa Cardinals and the second round-surging Arellano Chiefs; as well as a dogfight between redemption-seeking San Sebastian and defending champs San Beda.
