Games scheduled today, October 23, will be moved to a later date due to unfavorable weather situations brought about by Typhoon Kristine, NCAA Management Committee chairman Hercules Callanta announced on Tuesday night.

The full statement reads: 

Dear ManCom, Coaches, GMA, Commissioner, and NCAA Community,

Please be infomed that the NCAA Basketball Games tomorrow, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, are postponed due to inclement weather. The rescheduling of the affected games, LPU vs CSB, and EAC vs JRU, will be done after due stury.

Please be guided accordingly.

The postponed Wednesday double-header features the redemption-seeking LPU Pirates (6-6) locking horns with the top-seeded Benilde Blazers (10-2) who's almost assured of a Final Four slot; and a duel between the playoff-chasing EAC Generals (6-6) and a team avoiding bottom in the JRU Heavy Bombers (3-9).
