The third Online Sports Leadership Program (OLSP) National Sports Summit is set to take place in Tuguegarao City from August 23 to 25, 2024.

The event aims to strengthen athletes' mindset on how to excel in sports, drawing inspiration from successful Olympic medalists.

During the summit, the new Winds of Change Project will be launched alongside an open forum, panel discussions, and storytelling sessions involving participants. 

The previous OSLP summits were hosted in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

"One of the things that we realize[d] from the previous summit is how important it is to include the youth — the local youth — in the summit," Akiko Thomson-Guevarra, an Olympian swimmer, said.

"The participants — the olympians — is actually a small number if you think about it, and then you add ['yung] mga olympians [at] mga speakers namin… so [the] majority of it is the youth from Tuguegarao," Thomson-Guevarra added.
