Carlos Yulo bagged another gold medal for the Philippines in the Paris Olympics, this time, in the Men’s Vault in gymnastics.

Yulo scored a huge 15.116 in the finals that took place late evening on August 4, 2024 in the Philippines.

He defeated Armenia's Artur Davtyan who settled for silver and Great Britain's Harry Hepworth who settled for bronze.

Yulo won his second gold just a day after clinching the first gold medal for the Philippines in the Floor Exercise event where he scored 15.000.

In the Floor Exercise event, Yulo defeated defending gold medalist Artem Dolgopyat of Israel and Jake Jarman, the top performer during the qualification round.

Yulo's second gold in the Paris Olympics is the third for the Philippines in the Olympic Games. The first was won by Hidilyn Diaz in weightlifting in the Tokyo games in 2020.
