Palarong Pambansa secondary girls volleyball defending champions Western Visayas dominates Central Visayas in tuneup match.
Bannered by players from Bacolod Tay Tung High School, Region 6 had an impressive showing against University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) powered Central Visayas, 25-16, 25-16, 25-20, 22-25.
Expressing his gratitude for the chance to play a friendly with the host team, Team Manager Jose Montalbo believes that the tuneup game with USJR was pivotal in "ensuring that our players remained physically unaffected by the long trip from Bacolod to Cebu."
"Our volleyball team had the chance to familiarize themselves with the venue. This experience will greatly reduce the need for adjustments to the new court," he added.
