GMA Integrated News, Regional TV and Synergy Senior Vice President and Head Oliver Victor B. Amoroso was among select media hosted by South Korean Ambassador Lee Sang-hwa at the latter’s residence in Makati.

The dialogue revolved around the celebration of cultural and diplomatic ties between the Philippines and South Korea. The two countries are celebrating 75 years of relations.

Recent events like the Korea World Travel Fiesta and the deployment of Filipino caregivers to South Korea were cited as examples of growing cultural exchange.

The conversation concluded with an invitation to an upcoming conference on Indo-Pacific security, underscoring the importance of media’s role in promoting diplomatic initiatives.

Amoroso was joined by Asst. Vice President and Deputy Head of Integrated News Operations, Queenie S. Dimapawi.
