GMA Network executives Regie C. Bautista and Cheryl Ching-Sy have been selected to join the jury of the 2024 Asian Academy Creative Awards.
As jury members, they will play a pivotal role in choosing the best of the best in the content industry from 17 nations in the Asia Pacific Region.
Bautista is GMA Network's Senior Vice President for Corporate Strategic Planning and Business Development and Concurrent Chief Risk Officer, and Head of Program Support. Her teams have been instrumental in several of the Network’s landmark achievements, including several local and international awards. Bautista has also driven the growth of GMA's online community, with millions of followers across the different social media platforms. Her team is also behind GMANetwork.com, one of the country's leading websites. Among others, she also instituted the Network's sustainability reporting, making GMA the first media and broadcast company in the Philippines to sign with the United Nations (UN) Global Compact. Bautista is also the concurrent President and COO of GMA Ventures.
Ching-Sy, on the other hand, is GMA Network's Vice President for Drama under its Entertainment Group. She has played a pivotal role behind the Network's groundbreaking programs such as "Voltes V: Legacy," "Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law," "Widows' War," and the Philippines' most important drama for 2024, "Pulang Araw."
The Asian Academy Creative Awards is the Asia Pacific region’s most prestigious award-giving body that celebrates creative excellence and promotes Asian content internationally.
