One North Central Luzon (ONCL), GMA Regional TV’s super region news program covering news and current affairs in North and Central Luzon, bagged four prestigious awards during the Daluyon Media Awards held at the Universidad de Dagupan (UdD) on Friday, May 10, 2024. It is the award-giving body’s inaugural edition, hosted by the university’s Alliance of Communication Students.

ONCL clinched four major awards in the television category:

Best TV News Program: GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon

Best News Anchor: Cris Zuñiga

Best Male Field Reporter: Russel Simorio

Best Female Field Reporter: Jasmin Gabriel-Galban

Among those honored and present to accept the awards were GMA Dagupan Station Manager Lou Ferdinand De Leon, and ONCL Senior Program Manager Glamorfe Calicdan-DIzon. 

These accolades add to the growing list of accomplishments attained by by GMA Regional TV, the regional arm of GMA Network, as it bagged five of the 15 awards and recognitions given to GMA Integrated News at the 18th Gandingan Awards of the UP Community Broadcasters’ Society (UP ComBrodSoc) last May 4, 2024.
