A raging fire consumed seven adjacent houses in Barangay Poblacion, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan evening on November 27, 2023.
Majority of the houses were made of light materials, which was why the fire spread quickly.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) faced challenges in responding promptly because of heavy traffic, extending the time it took to control the fire.
Investigation into the incident is ongoing, as of this writing.
The residents affected have appealed for assistance and support.
