Authorities rescued a large snake that got stuck inside the glass cover at a tailoring shop on Mc Arthur Highway in Matina, Davao City.
The snake resisted as rescuers tried to pull it out, but rescuers eventually managed to secure the snake and place it inside a sack.
According to reports, the snake was first spotted by motorcycle riders passing by the highway. They saw it crawl until it got trapped inside the glass cover of the tailoring shop.
“Nisulod diani, naa may gamay sira bitaw. Unya naa may gamayng naabri. Mao to nisulod sa sira,” a resident, Larry Calawan, said.
Authorities said this was the first time that a large snake was found in the area.
The snake was estimated to be around 15 feet long.
It was turned over to proper authorities.
