More than 30 families have fled their homes after several barangays in Glan, Sarangani were flooded following heavy rains.
According to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), at least 31 barangays were affected by the flood.
The families who evacuated came from Barangay Poblacion. They eventually returned home after the flood subsided.
Floodwaters in some areas reportedly entered the houses, prompting residents to rescue some animals.
Several motorists were also stranded and floodwaters in some areas reached waist-deep.
State weather burearu PAGASA said the bad weather experienced in the province was due to the easterlies.
