Farmers in Barangay Inlambo, Mangaldan, Pangasinan are struggling with water shortage that affects their crops every second cropping season.

To address this issue, the Department of Agriculture-Regional Agricultural Engineering Division (DA-RAED) inspected a communal irrigation system and recommended its rehabilitation.

For many farmers like Perfecto Abrazaldo, a working irrigation system means lower costs and better crops.

To support farmers affected by water shortages, the local government distributes water pumps.

The Municipal Agriculture Office also encourages planting crops that require less water, especially during the dry season.
