PAGASA Visayas Regional Services Division issued Rainfall Advisory No. 6 at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025 on light to moderate rains in parts of Eastern Visayas due to the Low Pressure Area (LPA).

As of posting time, the LPA was spotted east of Hinatuan town, Province of Surigao del Sur.

Light to Moderate rains are expected over #Samar (Marabut, SantaRita, Basey), #SouthernLeyte (City of Maasin, Tomas Oppus, Macrohon, Malitbog, Padre Burgos, Libagon, Saint Bernard, Liloan, San Francisco, Pintuyan, San Ricardo, Hinunangan, San Juan, Hinundayan, Anahawan, Bontoc, Sogod, Silago), #Leyte (Matalom, Bato, Hilongos, Hindang, Abuyog, Mahaplag, Inopacan, Javier, Macarthur, Mayorga, La Paz, Dulag, Tacloban City, Santa Fe, Babatngon, Palô, Tolosa, Julita, Tanauan, Tabontabon), and #EasternSamar within the next one (1) to two (2) hours.

"The public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned are advised to monitor the weather condition and watch for the next warning to be issued at 2 p.m. today [March 27, 2025]," DOST-PAGASA said.
