Four persons of minor ages were punched, kicked, and trampled upon by fellow juveniles at a cemetery in Oton town, Province of Iloilo.

The assault on four minors on March 23, 2025 was caught on camera.

The caretaker of the cemetery chanced upon the group of minors but they bolted out of the cemetery when asked about their presence.

“Marami sila, mga 15. Nakatayo lang sila. Sabi ko ano ang ginagawa nyo dito? Frat na naman kayo?” Ricardo Geduque, caretaker of Oton Catholic Cemetery, said.

A councilman said that the juveniles seen on the video are not residents of the barangay, but he suspects they are members of a gang.

“First time itong nangyari sa hindi natin alam kung rambol ‘yun o isa sa mga initiation sa mga sumasali sa kanilang grupo,” said Raffy de la Cruz, a councilman of Barangay Poblacion South, Oton.

The Oton Municipal Police have started their investigation on the alleged hazing incident, as of this writing.
