A manager of an agri-machinery company was killed while his wife was injured after they were shot in Buluan, Maguindanao del Sur.
Police said the victims are residents of Mlang, Cotabato.
Based on investigation, the couple was on board their pickup truck when they were shot by motorcycle-riding suspects along the national highway.
The two were brought to the hospital, but the man was declared dead on arrival while his wife is under observation, as of this writing.
Authorities are investigating the incident to identify the perpetrators and determine the motive.
