The remaining four of six foreigners who went missing while trekking in the Province of Negros Oriental have been found, the local government of Valencia town said. 

The six, a mix of Russians, Germans, and Canadians, were trekking to Sibulan town from Valencia when they went missing. They reportedly did not hire a guide.

Two of them were found earlier on March 21, 2025.

In a post on its Facebook page, Valencia town said the remaining four were found morning on March 22, 2025. 

The Facebook post of Valencia town reads:

"The Incident Command Post, located in Sitio Lunas, Brgy. Malabo, remained operational on the evening of March 21, 2025 as the Alpha Company 11th IB Philippine Army, alongside the Search and Rescue team ONE-MO Wilderness First Responder Inc. and local guides, continued the search. A night search and rescue operation were conducted in the mountains of Valencia and Amlan, with teams divided into 2 groups, the SAR team Malabo was tasked to cross and search the area traversing the direction to the hydro electric power plant in Amlan traversing the trail going to Malabo, Valencia. In the morning of March 22, 2025, approximately 9:44AM, the team assigned in the area of Amlan search area found the 4 remaining individuals. When the SAR teams, together with rescued individuals arrived at the Incident Command Post in Silab, Amlan, they were endorsed to the Amlan Medical Team for further medical attention. Amlan Municipal Health Officer advised that the rescued individuals be transferred to the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment."

The two foreigners were found earlier in Barangay Malabo in Valencia, the entry point, according to Police Lt. Stephen Polinar, spokesperson of NOPPO.
