A teacher in charge of a public elementary school in Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat was arrested for allegedly selling suspected illegal drugs.
Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-SOCCSKSARGEN (PDEA-12) arrested the suspect during a buy-bust operation.
PDEA-12 said its agents have long monitored the suspect’s alleged involvement in illegal drug activities.
Seized from the suspect were six grams of suspected shabu worth more than P40,000.
The suspect is facing charges for alleged violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165).
He did not issue a statement.
PDEA-12 added that any official of the Department of Education (DepEd) should not engaged in illegal drug activities.
