The remains of a couple, who were teachers at the Iloilo City National High School, and their seven-year-old daughter, who all died in a fire that struck their ancestral house in Barangay Infante, Molo District were cremated.
The urn that contains the ashes of Julius Reyes and his wife, Lounelyn, and their daughter Amber is set for public viewing beginning on March 14, 2025.
The fire broke out on March 8, 2025.
According to Teacher Lounelyn’s brother, Noel Agustin, the three fire victims were cremated on March 8, 2025.
Agustin said that the urn will be taken to the Iloilo City National High School for a one-day vigil that would allow students, teachers, and school administrators and other personnel to pay their last respects.
Interment is set at 2 p.m. on March 18, 2025 at Forest Lake.
A Holy Mass will be offered in the vicinity of the destroyed ancestral house morning on March 12, 2025.
