The price of pork meat at the Mangaldan Public Market in Pangasinan has climbed to P400 per kilo as vendors struggle with limited supply from suppliers in Bicol.
Despite the price hike, customers like Raquel Bacay still bought pork for a special occasion.
“Kaya naman po. Once a year lang naman,” she said while buying meat for her child’s birthday.
