A 22-year-old Indian national lost over P4,000 to holduppers noontime on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
Khushwant Singh Grewal narrated that he was held up by two men in Sitio Baclayan, Barangay San Juan, Barotac Viejo town in the Province of Iloilo.
The robbers took from him collection money worth P4,500.
One of the suspects was arrested by the authorities.
The police recovered from alias “John” the collection money, a firearm with live bullets, and suspected shabu.
The suspect fell in a hot pursuit operation conducted by the Barotac Viejo Municipal Police led by Police Major Ciriaco Esquilarga, chief of Barotac Viejo Municipal Police Station.
