Authorities have seized over P2.2 million worth of marijuana bricks in Tabuk City, Kalinga, and are now on the hunt for the suspect who managed to escape during the operation.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and local police confiscated around 19,000 grams of marijuana bricks, valued at approximately P2,280,000, according to the Cagayan Provincial Information Office (PIO).
The operation was conducted after receiving a tip about the suspect’s illegal activities.
Despite setting up an entrapment operation, the suspect fled the scene and left the drugs behind.
PDEA and the police have intensified efforts to capture the fugitive and coordinated with neighboring areas for his arrest.
This successful operation was the result of a joint effort involving multiple agencies, including PDEA Nueva Vizcaya, PDEA Kalinga, and the local police.
