Three people, including two minors, were shot dead in Carmen, Cotabato on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
The victims were identified as a 29-year-old farmer, his eight-year-old son, and 17-year-old nephew.
Initial investigation disclosed that the victims were on board a motorcycle on their way to their farm in Barangay Simone, Kabacan, Cotabato when they were shot by the suspects several times upon reaching Purok 5 in Barangay General Luna, Carmen town.
Police said the suspects were riding a minivan.
Investigators recovered six empty shells of an M16 rifle and two empty shells of a caliber .45 pistol from the crime scene.
Authorities are looking into personal grudge as possible motive in the killing.
