To ensure public safety, the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) will deploy at least 1,900 personnel, including volunteers, during the Panagbenga Festival 2025 in Baguio City.

“Mayroon tayong total of 1,941 na ma-deploy bukas during the parade. Actually, that is composed of 1,200 plus na PNP personnel to include mga volunteer groups and ibang civilian volunteers,” PMaj. Mary Grace Marron, BCPO spokesperson, said.

The month-long festival begins officially on February 1 with the theme "Blossoms Beyond Boundaries."

Organizers expect over 50,000 visitors to witness the festival’s opening parade, which features a mix of civic and indigenous dance performances.

“Well of course, we have the opening day parade, it is more like a civic parade kasama diyan ang competition ng elementary division and kasama diyan ang pagparada ng mga competitors doon sa indigenous dance,” Andrew Pinero, spokesperson of the Baguio Flower Festival Foundation Inc. (BFFFI), said.

Authorities have also announced road closures to accommodate the parades and have designated emergency lanes for quick response services.

Despite the high demand for accommodations, the BFFFI assured visitors that hotels and transient lodgings are still available for last-minute bookings.

The festival’s most awaited highlights, the Grand Street Dance Parade and the Grand Float Parade, will take place on February 22 and 23, respectively.
